Triple Store

Catalog, explore, and SPARQL workbench for MarkLogic triples

Why teams struggle

Triple readiness and graph inventory stay behind ad-hoc SPARQL and Admin probes—hard to share, hard to hand off.

How Pulse helps

RDF ops on MarkLogic content DBs with the triple index on: Catalog (Health / Inventory / Stats), Explore (Search / Graph / Relations / Describe), Workbench (read-only SPARQL, Export, Dumps, integrity).

Key capabilities

  • Catalog / Explore / Workbench — capped APIs for large triple DBs
  • Health: index flags, positions, Has triples probe per content DB
  • Inventory: named graphs, expand for sample subjects + subject search
  • Stats: on-demand predicate counts (Refresh; not auto-run)
  • Search: browse or filter S / P / O / Any; optional named graph
  • Graph: seed URI, hops/direction, 1-hop expand, Fit, full screen
  • Relations + Describe: neighbors and property groups for a URI
  • SPARQL: read-only SELECT / ASK / CONSTRUCT / DESCRIBE; optional plan
  • Export / Dumps / import preview / integrity / incident
  • Open in Optic: URI → Query Designer fromSparql starter

Inside Triple Store

Catalog

Readiness and inventory for content databases with the triple index enabled.

  • Health — Status, triple index / positions, Has triples probe, Notes
  • Inventory — all named graphs (paged); + expands sample subjects; subject search (≥2 chars, capped)
  • Use in Explore — open a subject on Explore Graph
  • Stats — predicate counts on Refresh only; active-tab fetch; abort on tab switch

Explore

Browse/filter triples and walk a seed URI on a capped graph canvas.

  • Search — browse or filter S/P/O/Any; optional graph; click row → triple graph popup + 1-hop neighbors
  • Graph — seed URI, hops/direction, expand, Fit, Clear, full screen; namespace-colored nodes
  • Dense graphs (>~25 nodes) — captions/edge labels auto-hide; selection dims non-neighbors
  • Relations — outgoing predicates, same-as, related subjects (timed probe)
  • Describe — outgoing / incoming Kind · Predicate · Value
  • Open in Optic — fromSparql starter into Query Designer for the same DB

Workbench

Read-only SPARQL and export tooling with hard caps.

  • SPARQL — SELECT / ASK / CONSTRUCT / DESCRIBE; updates blocked; limit 1–500
  • Plan — optional indented XML plan + Copy plan
  • Export / Dumps — sample and full dump (N-Quads / TriG / RDF/XML where offered)
  • Import preview · Integrity · Incident — button-only sampled checks
